A few of us went exploring today to speak to the team who run a lovely small cafe in called Pinnies in Godmanchester near Huntingdon. We had a delicious breakfast and found out lots on information about this project that is supported by MENCAP. Here are some photos and we recommend a visit if you are in area or fancy a little trip out.

Drop in Sessions – during term time 

-Every Tuesday Honeyhill Children’s Centre, Paston, Peterborough PE4 7DH 4.30 – 6pm 

-Every Thursday Bluecoats, Green Lane, Stamford PE9 1HE 4 – 6pm 

Sessions suitable for all ages, free and there’s no need to book – just turn up! Refreshments are provided and there is singing, toys and the perfect opportunity for parents and children alike to get to know each other. The perfect first introduction to the group. 

Following on from the success of this year’s Education Day we are keen to run a similar event next year. We want to make next year’s day as relevant for all of our members as is possible and therefore we are asking for your ideas for topics and issues that should be covered.

We are using our links with POSH to the full and have organised a Body Shop party to be held at the London Road on Friday 18th October at 7.30pm. All money raised will go to PADSG so please come along and try to bring as many friends and family members as you can! Tickets can be purchased on the door at a bargain price of £3 which includes a drink, cake and entry into the raffle.
