I have decided to run The Great Eatern Run for the Peterborough Area Down’s Syndrome Group because it’s a place where young people and adults with Down’s Syndrome can meet with their friends in a fun and welcoming place. The charity regularly arranges afternoons out and arrange dance, sport and games sessions for the group.
Any money that I can raise for Peterborough Area Down’s Syndrome Group would help these brilliant and enjoyable sessions to continue.
All donations are greatly appreciated.

Friends, families, staff and customers at the Stanground Co-Op store helped raise valuable funds on Saturday the 14th December. With cakes, name the bear, tombola and manager Mark Balding having legs waxed they couldn’t help but dig into their pockets to help out.
A massive thank you to all those involved and those that came and supported the group.
Many of you will be aware of the difficulties that can arise when children with Downs Syndrome are learning to ride a bike. We are very fortunate to have the skills and expertise of Richard Cooper from www.ridingabike.co.uk who has kindly offered to run two sessions for PADSG. One session will be held at Visions in Stamford on Saturday 12th October at 3-5pm. Another session will be held at Honeyhill Children’s Centre on Tuesday 15th October at 4.30-6pm. All members will need to bring their own bike and helmet. Siblings are welcome too. To give us an idea of numbers or for any questions please contact Maggie Scott on 01780 444233 or email@example.com
